July CPM Rates

As we’ve made changes to our CPM rates month by month, many of you have spoken out with questions, suggestions, and concerns. We’ve listened.

As a result, we’re running a special promotion for the month of July… we’ll be offering a $7 CPM for non-autoplay video. We’ll be assessing the success of this promotion at the end of July – impression numbers for the month will help us determine how successful we can be at this higher CPM and influence our decision for how to move forward with future rate cards. For now, we’re thrilled to make you all this offer and hope it reaps great rewards for you!

July CPM rates are below (no changes have been made other than the addition of the July promotion):

Text and Image - $0.10
Referral Text and Image - $0
Autoplay video $0.50
Referral autoplay video $0.10
Non-autoplay video $7 – ONE MONTH SPECIAL PROMOTION
Referral non-autoplay video $1.00

Happy embedding.

Question:

If your working towards gaining metrics for a July campaign, why are we just now being notified about this on the 10th of July?

Dear Angela Lauria
Yes, please join me to this campaign !!!
Thanks.

I think it's all a wonderful idea. Thanks for the opportunity.

I think it's a great opportunity...but as stated before, I think you'll have better numbers of impressions on all fronts if and when the embedability issue is addressed. javascript only will limit many people on where they'll be able to embed the video/text and pics...

That means people will manually have to hit "play" 1000 times to earn $7.00? Or ever 1000 hits =$7.00 no matter if they play the ad or not?

Cool. So do I have to do anything like changing my code/video? My video is currently in auto-play mode.

Thank you sir. Is there any special code to be embeded in my site? Keep-it-up and encourage.

Thanks.

Hi,

Nice idea.
Maybe we can earn some more money :)

Happy earnings.

:-)

I've been idle in newsroom for quite some time but I wanted to try this new promotion offer. thanks

Hi Angela
Even i wud like to join this grat program-how do i proceed?
warm regds

Good idea, however Autoplay is working well for my business site. As a B2B website my viewers love the autoplay feature. How about raising the pay and lower the amount of plays, i mean 1000 is a bit much.

great count me in but i think i already have the non auto play vido on my site

same question as joel

Actually, the "same question" isn't from me...but rather clint. 1,000 plays = $7 for video...and I would expect it only for countries previously specified by Voxant.

My thought is that the idea is great, but rather limited in it's execution.

In order to fully evaluate the numbers, the publishers would need to have the tools necessary to really make the numbers happen. With only having javascript as an embed code...it limits our use of the newsfeeds to only places that will allow javascript....

This eliminates Xanga, Myspace, and several other popular blogging sites and web companies.

It also limits the ability of 2nd generation use of the code.

It won't take long to notice that the numbers will show a spike in usage for the video on 1st generation embedding. But after the month is over, the usage will dwindle again (unless the promotion keeps going).

What I would find most interesting is when the HTML code is available, and the flexibility to place the code on most blogging sites returns...then seeing what the numbers say then in regards to CPM rates....for both 1st AND 2nd generation usage.

I was attracted to this service due to the quality and the extra feature voxant provides for my visitors. I am not that excited about the amount of hits required prior to any credits/earning applied. It’s just not realistic to await any earning gratifications due to the hits/earning ratio; but the feature is fabulous.

My site blog is www.philippinevoyager.com and is currently under construction to be convert to a much more robust & exciting Online Magazine. You can catch a sneak peak at my developer’s server: www.168media.net/pv

I will be incorporating voxant services due to the nice features for my visitors to enjoy. Wish list: hope voxant rearranges the required reasonable hits required to gain earning thru advertisement. My site currently has over 30,000 hits and growing. I hope voxant and philippinevoyager.com can share in the growth & success of the coming magazine. We will cover many topics worldwide!

Keep up the good work anyway… ;)

How do we specify non-autoplay video to get this special rate?

ehm. i think its a good rate.

I will give a try first.

I have used it for one day. My site has more than 10,000 pageviews per day. But my revenue was zero from
Non-autoplay video. Which means that user has to click and view 1000 times to earn $7.

Wow, these .10 text/image have gone WAY down ... 1/10 of what they used to be.
