This isn't the season to head into the classroom, but something tells me this California educational institution won't have any problem getting students this summer. Sign up now for Oaksterdam University, the first college devoted to the study of pot. I'm guessing it's not hard to get other students to do your homework for you when you're enrolled in this place.

science does something right - 5.30.08 Voxant Today

So many people hate the Space Program these days. "It's too expensive," they say. "Everyone knows there's nothing up there," they whine. Even astronauts are complaining these days (just go outside, people...it's not like there's anyone around).

Today, Japan has finally put all those complaints to rest. According to brewers in the island nation, the space station can be used to produce great beer. We have liftoff!

One man's trash.... - 5.29.08 Voxant Today

As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Or in this case, one man's trash is another man's meal. There are people who go digging for their meals in dumpsters, or as the Brits call them, rubbish bins. They’re called Freegans. The Freegans are a thrifty bunch but they don't scavenge through trash just because they’re cheap, they're also out to show how much First World countries waste food. So don't feel bad for the Freegans because they eat from rubbish bins, they're getting hearty meals. Gabargé à la mode, anyone?
